We signed a new two-year lease for our current apartment. We're not moving for a while.

Apparently, the condo market in Jersey City has slowed down. Who knew?

Pretty much what I was thinking. The location is good, the place is big (and we have a lot of crap to fill it with), the amenities are nice, and the price is right.

Even if we did move, we'd really try to stay in the same neighborhood and a similar living situation. Because the next "life step" is looking for suburbs with good school districts and 3-bedroom houses, and I'm just not ready for that yet.

It's still a few years off, seriously. I need to simplify my life by deciding what I want to do with it before I complicate it further by adding more people.

They annoy their parents a lot. That counts, right? I hear you on the fear of change though. Brr.
