For those concerned about my mom (and it's appreciated), she's doing pretty well. She came home from the hospital on Friday, and when I called tonight, was making pudding (presumably while balancing on one foot--my father was unclear on the logistics). She's got a wheelchair and two walkers (upstairs and downstairs) and a leg brace instead of a cast to facilitate physical therapy.
I'm going out for a day this week to entertain her and run errands, and will presumably do so again as she recovers. I'll presumably get a better idea then, but right now I have a sense that things are going to be unpleasant, but are much better than they could have been.

Date: 2008-06-02 12:34 pm (UTC)True fact, as I'm still here to keep everyone on their toes. You, for instance, will no doubt be asked to scrub the bathrooms and kitchen floors, as it will have been at least two hours since your sister did them.
I really do have the Force of Nature reputation, don't I?
