The most foul-mouthed of minimalist rpgs. You play as giant crabs, who drive a truck from Crab Mountain across the Crab Desert at the behest of the Crab Goddess.

It’s very fast-and-loose; there aren’t actually “target numbers” for rolls, just the GM rolls against anything that isn’t contested by another player. And that works fine for a wacky fast-paced game. There are no botching rules or critical successes, but there’s a half-decent system of applying bonuses or penalties.

What this really needs is a second page with a random complications table. It’s a game about overcoming a string of obstacles while driving a giant truck; I feel like a table of adjectives and a table of nouns could make for a delightful plot generator.

In my test game, the players encountered the Desert Bus, an ambush of chameleon shrimp, a Dunkin Donuts drive-thru, an evil constellation that came down to attack them, a motel (where they had to fix the shark filter for the pool), a mantis shrimp cop, and getting through a toll plaza without an EZ-PASS. They were rewarded with a giant trench coat so they could become Muppet Man.

Overall: Good one-shot (because you’re going to use all your best crab puns in one session); could really use that random events table.

I still want to encounter 4 300-pound crabs in a trench coat as a minor character/complication/thing in the background in some other campaign.
