chuckroMicrosoft really, really doesn't want you using Chrome on a computer pre-installed with IE. Or Gmail, for that matter--Jethrien tried to access her mail from our tranformerbook (running Windows 8.1) and it claimed that Google and Gmail had out-of-date security certificates and couldn't be accessed. Also, the link to download Chrome? Totally unsafe, can't ever go there, no way no how. I had to download the installer on another computer and transfer it over.
Nice to see that Microsoft's terrible, monopolistic business practices haven't gotten any better in the past two decades.
