This was another mixed-genre bundle; $2 for a bunch of indie games that might be good.

Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered - Jethrien called this "Monster Boggle" when she saw me playing it, and while it's a little more like "Puzzle Quest, but with Boggle as the battle mechanic," she wasn't far off. You fight by forming words, and more letters means more damage. Status effects hit your letters--so the letter tiles can be poisoned (dealing damage if you use them) or petrified (making them unusable). Stages are distinct, and each one typically has a normal version, a time attack version and a special conditions version, along with a super-difficult "elite" version. (So there are 40 stages, but 160 challenges in total.) I played something like a dozen hours of this—it was the first game in this bundle that I played, and it made the bundle worthwhile all by itself.

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition - I had expected this to be an arena fighter or 1-on-1 fighting game; it's actually an adventure/beat-em-up. It's a little bit Metroidvania and pretty decent from the start. I think it falls into the category of "I should revisit this later, I'm not in the mood for it right now."

Overture - A pseudo-roguelike shoot-em-up; and actually fairly similar to some of the zombie games from a few months ago, at least in play style. It's a very simple game when you get right down to it--pick a character, kill stuff and get treasure, die and spend that treasure upgrading your new guy. It's like Loot Hero but with even less structure--it is seriously all about the grind. I played for about an hour, trying a variety of classes and eventually upgrading a rogue a bunch of times, but I never got past the first level.

Survivalist - This is a top-down rpg with most of the crpg hallmarks I tend to dislike: Open world with a loose plot, action/twitch-based battles, food/water meters and limited ammo. Also, it's a post-apocalyptic survival game where you emerge from your bunker into a zombie-overrun world to look for food. If you're a fan of classic crpgs and The Walking Dead this is probably for you. It's not really for me.

GT Legends is a racing game I was all set to try with ARR, but it’s apparently unplayable in Windows 10.

(All Stars Bundle 4 also included Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, PixelJunk™ Monsters Ultimate + Shooter Bundle, and Evoland. I'm not interested in the former, and the latter two I've played on other platforms. Folks are welcome to the keys if they want them.)

Overall: This bundle was entirely worth it for Letter Quest (which I totally recommend), I got some enjoyment out of Overture, and I’m likely to revisit Guacamelee!. That’s not a bad hit rate.
