So, I set a recent record for books in a single year in 2015, and I suspect it was a confluence of several factors: I wasn’t getting free comic books, so I spent more reading time on prose; my tablet made it much more convenient to read ebooks on the go; and I’ve been making an effort to read books rather than mindlessly surf the internet.

Out of 27 books:

- 6 were physical books.

- 12 came from KindleUnlimited, 6 from Humble Bundles.

- 9 could be categorized as “rpg parody books”, 5 as sci-fi, and 4 as non-fiction.

- 7 were what I’d call “very good” and would actively recommend: The Silence of Six by E. C. Myers, Wage Slave Rebellion by Stephen W. Gee, What If? By Randall Munroe, Angels & Visitations by Neil Gaiman, Help Fund My Robot Army!!! Ed. John Joseph Adams, Old Man's War by John Scalzi, and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.

- I don’t think there’s anything that deserves a “terrible” rating (that I actually finished, at least), though The Lag, Really Terrible Bible Stories and the various Critical Failures books were probably the ones I’m least likely to recommend to anyone. Only Begotten Daughter wasn’t much better.

Going into 2016, I’ve started a Pratchett and several short story collections, and I have more Carey, Gaiman and Scalzi on my list. I doubt I’m going to beat this year, but we’ll see how I do.
