We last left Steven (and Lars) on a ship to Homeworld where Yellow and Blue Diamonds were planning to prosecute him for him/his mother shattering Pink Diamond. Revelations are had.

Overall: If the series ended here, it would be okay. They successfully resolve a lot of the major mysteries / conflicts.
