The Secret of NIMH freaked me out when I saw it as a small child; I donn't quite remember why. I read the book years later and enjoyed it; and it was years after that I read an article on how different the book and movie were. I should rewatch it at some point.

Kids would make me more likely to watch these, as opposed to the big list of not-appropriate-for-kids movies that I also need to watch at some point. Or the giant stacks of TV show DVDs.
