Groundhog Day - Holds up delightfully well. Also carries a great message about dating, as it’s only when Phil gives up on trying to “win the game” of treating women like a dating sim and starts working on improving himself and getting involved in the world around him does he actually become attractive and find love.

Tucker and Dale Versus Evil - In a world where Cabin In the Woods didn’t exist, I’d consider this a very good send-up of the horror movie genre. As it stands, it’s only okay. It’s aware of what it’s doing but not meta-aware, if that makes sense; and it can’t really decide how comedic it’s trying to be versus horrific, but it’s not really “black comedy”, either. You don’t need to rush out to see it, but as previously noted, I’ll support anything that gets Alan Tudyk a paycheck.

Blazing Saddles - This movie, surprisingly, does not hold up. Men In Tights and Young Frankenstein do, but this very much doesn’t. It just isn’t particularly funny. Which is kinda sad.

Good Will Hunting - I always thought this was a great movie; having been a kid with “potential”, and identifying with both Will and with Professor Lambeau (the bit about how will can do a problem in two hours that Lambeau could never do, but most people can’t tell any difference between them is Princeton in a nutshell). And Robin Williams really does knock it out of the park. They give him some really gem stuff, and he just runs with it. If by some chance you’ve never seen this, see it.
