My mother recently started texting. She texted me to let me know my parents were getting on the cruise ship, for instance, and...oh god, she uses txtspk. LIke "gr8."

It BURNSES US.

I will admit, I was expecting this to be a lot more of parents being clueless. I'm rather pleased to find that most people are proudly posting their parents being clever and witty.
