Overall: The difficulty is definitely increased versus vanilla. Enemies are loaded with counterattacks and status effects--I found there was a lot more "fun" with status effects in general than in vanilla, which I suspect is related to the fact that accessories can now be equipped by anyone and each prevents a certain status. The rearranged plot was amusing and there were some interesting ideas in the new mechanics, if not the best execution for my preferred playstyle. I think Unprecendented Crisis was a better hack, but this kept me entertained.
