ARR Attends a Birthday Party - Coda
May. 9th, 2015 10:56 amJethrien hit most of the details about this, but I just wanted to note that I was…disproportionately proud and happy that my son played so well and so nicely with the birthday boy at the party we went to last weekend. And also a little smug at how well our trip to the potty during the party went. And insanely grateful for how well the car trip went (especially the extra hour sitting in traffic on the way home, which ARR just slept through).
As is fitting for a morning when I'm thinking about this: This morning ARR ate all of the raspberries off my breakfast plate, except for the one he insisted that I eat right then. He followed that up with a quarter-pint of blackberries. (On Thursday, we stopped at the farmer's market on the way home when he insisted he wanted tomatoes. I bought a pint of cherry tomatoes. Half a pint made it home, and that's only because I made him stop. Boy likes his fresh produce!)
