The perfect food! And other stuff.
Apr. 1st, 2014 05:54 pmBacon and Peanut Butter-Nutella Sandwich Bites that we got at the Toasted Oak in Novi, MI.
A serendipitous discovery from this weekend: The closest attempt to the perfect food I have ever seen. (As a rule, any food can be improved by 1. Dipping it in chocolate, 2. Wrapping it in bacon, 3. Deep frying it or 4. Putting it on a stick.) This is deep-friend bacon-wrapped chocolate and peanut butter on a stick. And it’s exactly as marvelous as you’d think.
(Also, two folks we think are awesome got married in a lovely ceremony, and we got to see Princetonians who traveled from six states and three countries for an awesome time. I wish I got to see those folks much more often. And my parents took ARR for the weekend, which made air travel and its zillion delays much more pleasant.)
