Trashy Eats

I noticed that Trashy_Eats was a highlighted community on the LJ main page. As I like food, I figured I'd check it out. Honestly, though, while it's nice for a little nostalgia, I'm just not feeling that kind of cooking/eating at this point in my life. This entry, for instance, brings back memories of the dining halls at CTY and college, where there were always Eggos and always ice cream, so a crappy waffle sundae was always an option. Thing is, nowadays I can go to one of the great local ice cream places and get a good waffle sundae, or get a little insane and break out my waffle iron.

And if I'm going to hurt myself enjoying too much bacon, there are so many more glorious things you can do with bacon than just covering it in cheese.

Overall, it lacks both the usefulness of a community like 1_eats_cheap and the amazing food-porn glory of This Is Why You're Fat.
