Here goes...
Oct. 19th, 2006 06:59 pmAnd here we have my last post as a single guy. Given that remarkably little in my life is actually changing, and I've got happy and congratulatory cheers from all sides, any idea why I'm all anxious?
Damn you society, for making this one day bigger and more important than the three years preceeding it or the X years afterward.
On the plus side, my bachelor party was awesome, I'll get to see many of my friends and relatives this weekend, my coworkers have used this as an excuse to show they appreciate me, and I now own a ton of great new kitchen gagdets. Jethrien had to talk me out of trying the bread machine this week (after I baked on Sunday and we still have a loaf of store-bought bread), I've been meaning to experiment further with the ice cream maker, and the pizza stone screams to be experimented with.
Oh, and I get to wear a tux with tails. And a top hat. That'll be way sweet.
