Nipped this one from Kate
Jun. 13th, 2005 10:10 am$10 and 15 minutes in which to spend it all. What do you buy?
Lunch. Or a paperback novel.
$100 and 1 hour; what do you buy?
All of the books of webcomics that I read but have yet to purchase. Mac Hall, Ctrl-Alt-Del, PvP book 2, PhD, etc.
$1000 and 2 hours; what do you buy?
All the new furniture
jethrien and I are going to need in a few weeks. I can do an Ikea run in two hours, right?
$10,000 and 48 hours; what do you buy? Note: you are not allowed to pay bills, put in savings/checking acct., or give money to anyone.
Ten grand? Screw a savings account. Put it in a CD, buy t-bills, start a new mutual fund account. If it must actually be "spent" in the 48 hours, then I'll have a busy two days of finding a location, band and caterer for my wedding and given them deposits. Not to mention, y'know, picking a date.
An invitation to have "high tea" with 3 high profile women (politicians, celebrities, etc.). Who will join you?
I'd much rather have high tea with women I already know. I suspect they're more fun.
