New toy

Okay, now that it's working properly: I like my new Mogul smartphone. I read LJ on it this morning while Jethrien was using the computer. I can check my email any time I want. (And it doesn't screw up my download/archive system on my computer.) On the "contacts" list, I can input both phone numbers and email addresses, and then when I pull up someone's name, it gives me a list of ways I can contact them. Awesome toy!

Oh, I'm glad. :) I was worried you might be annoyed at Michael for recommending such a disastrous toy. Have you gotten around to installing anything new yet? Google Maps in particular is perhaps the most useful thing you can have on that phone after the ability to make phone calls and surf the web, even without a Bluetooth GPS.

Honestly, it never even occured to me to be annoyed at Michael. Annoyed at Sprint-Nextel for being incompetant? Hells yeah. But Michael? It's not his fault that my cell phone company screwed up.

Google maps is going to get installed when I get that far (today, I inputted all of my contacts from my old phone). I'm probably not going to bother with the media player and web browers he suggested, as the default ones seem fine for my purposes.
