I've got the place to myself, now I just need things to do with it

So, yesterday, my roommate left for Switzerland to be with his folks for the holidays. And in the wee hours of this morning, Rebecca left for a week and a half in Aruba with her family. And suddenly I feel like I have very little to do, which is kind of silly, considering I have family holiday stuff this weekend, and then I have to go to work next week. Regardless, anyone who wants to come out and party with me next week, perhaps on a weeknight, let me know. No one wants a lonely Chuck.

Also, I've had "Once in a Lifetime" by Talking Heads stuck in my head for two days. If you thought Christmas music was annoying, try a nonsensical Talking Heads song.

maybe ben and i will come play with you next week. we want to go into the city between christmas and new years to see orly and her husband(!!!) but now that i think of it, you're not in the city at all. nonetheless... maybe we'll play... do you like that? Yeah, I spotted that Orly had gotten married in the PAW a few weeks ago. Still kinda scary when folks our age get married.

I'm not in NYC, but I'm vey close. Just a brief PATH train ride from midtown. If you're going to be in NYC, you really should come visit me.
