I'm out of practice on these, too

I'm putting together an Excel sheet that'll allow me to easily set up cryptograms. Wanna try my first effort? (I can't remember the last time I made one of these. Be kind.)

ABC = THE, and punctuation marks are hints. I don't think this requires a clue.

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Feeling contemplative, are we? You realize I'm only doing this because I'm incredibly bored.

The one thing I found misleading about this was that ABC = THE and THE = ABC, but that this rule did not apply to other letters. Not that there's anything in herently wrong those six letters mapping in both directions, but consistency helps with clarity.

I accidentally mapped them both ways. That'll teach me to make a puzzle in under 20 minutes.

I didn't catch the reverse mapping, but I'd like to claim the title of Wheel of Fortune Champion by recognizing the quote having only mapped the initial ABC=THE , M=I, and W=S :)

You're just jealous because you weren't first.
